Kayla Keefer scored her second hat trick in four games, and Oklahoma women's soccer blanked Colorado College 6-0 on Aug. 23 at John Crain Field to set a program record with four consecutive shutouts to open a season.

The Sooners (4-0) have outscored opponents 19-0 through four matches. The previous record of three straight shutouts to start a year stood since 2009.

Four games. Zero goals allowed.

Oklahoma Soccer announced the milestone on its official account after the final whistle.

Keefer, a junior forward, now has seven goals in 2026 after posting four in the Aug. 12 opener against Northwestern State and adding three more Sunday. She recorded the fastest hat trick in program history (11 minutes, 50 seconds) in that opener and earned SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors on Aug. 17, the first such award in OU program history.

Norman North graduate Callie Sullivan has started all four games in goal without allowing a score, posting a 1.000 save percentage with two saves. She is one of three Norman-area natives on the roster, joined by Elle Canty and Narissa Fults.

The opening stretch

Head coach Matt Mott's squad, now 34-22-7 in his fourth season, has rolled through a schedule that included a Bedlam road win. OU beat Northwestern State 9-0 on Aug. 12, East Texas A&M 2-0 on Aug. 16, Oklahoma State 2-0 on Aug. 20 and Colorado College 6-0 on Sunday.

The Bedlam victory in Stillwater on Aug. 20 was OU's first win there since 2016, with freshmen Kate McCallister and Kennedy Kaiser each scoring in their rivalry debuts. McCallister found the net in the 30th minute off an assist from Canty, and Kaiser added a 70th-minute goal on a Keefer assist.

The 2026 roster features 16 newcomers alongside 13 returners from a 2025 squad that went 10-5-4. The Sooners are chasing a third consecutive 10-win season, which would tie a program record.
