Oklahoma's defending national champion baseball team will play five home SEC series at Kimrey Family Stadium in 2027, the Southeastern Conference announced Sept. 8.

The 10-series, 30-game conference schedule pits the Sooners against eight teams that reached the 2026 NCAA Tournament. That group includes two College World Series participants: Georgia, which visits Norman on April 2-4, and Red River rival Texas, set for May 7-9.

OU opens league play with a road series at Tennessee on March 19-21, the program's first trip to Knoxville. The Sooners then host Auburn on March 25-27 for the SEC home opener.

After the Georgia series, OU heads to College Station to face Texas A&M on April 9-11. It will be the Sooners' first visit there since 2012, when both schools played in the Big 12. Kentucky comes to Norman on April 16-18 for the Wildcats' first trip to Norman.

Consecutive road trips follow: Missouri on April 23-25 and Mississippi State on April 30 through May 2. The Mississippi State series marks OU's first trip to Starkville since a 1992 NCAA Regional.

The Sooners close the conference slate at home against South Carolina on May 20-22. It will be the Gamecocks' first visit to Norman. OU's final road series is at Ole Miss on May 14-16, the program's first trip to Oxford, Miss., since an NCAA Regional in 2005.

Oklahoma won its third national title in 2026. It was the program's first since 1994. The Sooners finished with an 11-2 postseason record after defeating nine national seeds in the NCAA Tournament. They went 14-16 in SEC play during the regular season before their championship run.

The 2027 roster returns 14 players from that title team. Left-handed pitcher Cord Rager, a freshman All-American who struck out 94 batters in 76 innings last season, is back. Right fielder Dasan Harris returns. So does Jason Walk. Both earned CWS All-Tournament Team honors. Harris tied for the team lead with 17 RBI in the 2026 NCAA Tournament and threw out a runner at third base in the championship game. The Sooners also add 25 newcomers, including 19 transfers, as fall practice begins in September.

Before SEC play, OU will compete in two early-season tournaments: the Shriners College Showdown at Globe Life Field in Arlington on Feb. 19-21 against Arizona, Clemson and TCU, and the Frisco Classic at Riders Field in Frisco on March 5-7 against Kansas, Southern Miss and UC Irvine.
