Oklahoma will host Syracuse at Lloyd Noble Center at 8 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the Orange's first trip to Norman.

The SEC/ACC Men's Basketball Challenge matchup will air on ESPNU, OU announced Monday, Sept. 21. ESPN confirmed the game time and broadcast details as part of the fourth annual challenge schedule, which runs Dec. 1 through Dec. 3.

Head coach Porter Moser's Sooners enter the matchup with a perfect SEC/ACC Challenge record. Only Arkansas and Georgia share that unblemished mark among SEC teams, according to the university. The SEC leads the overall challenge series with the ACC, 2-0-1.

No. 21 Oklahoma beat Georgia Tech 76-61 in Norman on Dec. 3, 2024. Jeremiah Fears scored a game-high 18 points and Jalon Moore added 15 points and 11 rebounds. The Sooners then topped Wake Forest 86-68 in Winston-Salem, N.C., on Dec. 2, 2025. Tae Davis and Derrion Reid led six double-figure scorers with 18 points apiece, and Mohamed Wague posted an 11-point, 14-rebound double-double.

The all-time series between Oklahoma and Syracuse is tied 2-2. All four previous meetings took place away from Norman.

The most recent game came March 27, 2009, in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in Memphis. Blake Griffin scored 30 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, and Tony Crocker added a career-high 28 as the Sooners won 84-71. Before that, Syracuse beat Oklahoma 63-47 in the 2003 Elite Eight in Albany, N.Y. Carmelo Anthony posted 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Orange. Current Syracuse head coach Gerry McNamara had nine points and three assists in that game.

McNamara is entering his first season leading the Orange after Syracuse went 15-17 under Adrian Autry last year, syracuse.com reported.

Season tickets for OU men's basketball start at $199, according to the university. Mini-plan and single-game tickets are expected to go on sale in October. Fans can reach the OU Athletics Ticket Office at 405-325-2424 or at [email protected].
