Oklahoma women's soccer carries an 11-0 scoring margin into Thursday's Bedlam rivalry game at Oklahoma State, where the Sooners haven't won since 2016.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Neal Patterson Stadium in Stillwater for the 49th all-time meeting between the programs. OU (2-0) enters riding a historic start to the season, while Oklahoma State (1-0-1) holds a significant home advantage in the series, according to BVM Sports.
Junior forward Kayla Keefer is the headliner. In OU's Aug. 12 season opener against Northwestern State, Keefer became the first Sooner in program history to score four goals in a single game, notching a hat trick in under 12 minutes of play. She finished with eight points, another program record. The performance earned her SEC Offensive Player of the Week honors and a spot on the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week, making her the first Sooner to earn the SEC weekly award since OU joined the conference in 2024, according to Sooner Sports.
The 9-0 rout of Northwestern State set a program single-game team goals record, with five Sooners getting in the scoring column. True freshmen Kate McCallister and Brenna Hallam each scored their first collegiate goals, and Norman native Callie Sullivan earned the win in her debut in goal, making one save across 63 minutes.
OU followed that with a clean-sheet road win at East Texas A&M to move to 2-0.
Head coach Matt Mott's squad took last year's Bedlam meeting 3-1 in Norman. The Sooners posted 10 wins in 2025 with a program-low four losses and cracked the national top 25 for the first time since 2017, reaching No. 19 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.
On the other sideline, Cowgirls head coach Colin Carmichael enters his 22nd season leading the program. Oklahoma State opened 2026 with a tie against Sam Houston State and a win over Stephen F. Austin. Senior midfielder Lauden Wilson, a preseason All-Big 12 selection, leads the Cowgirls, who were picked 13th in the Big 12 preseason coaches poll.
Thursday's game is the second of 10 road matches for OU this season, the most under Mott and the most since 2022. Five Sooners were named to the SEC Preseason Watch List: Elle Canty, Lexi Dendis, Keefer, Narissa Fults and Ally Laccinole.
